One of my coworkers, Pat Hackenberg, went out and took some pictures around campus this morning. Now that the sun is out, it really is "a beautiful disaster" as Pat described it. But it's still a very challenging disaster for thousands here in northeast and north central Kansas who are without power. Pat said I could post these pictures, so enjoy, but I hope you'll also remember the people who are dealing with the after effects of the ice. Reports are that some people may not have power back for another 10 days or so.
These are all scenes from around the K-State campus. The building in the last picture is Anderson Hall, the main administration building.
