I'm going on vacation tomorrow to visit my parents and my friend Rebecca and probably Megan and my brother Jim and his family -- I'm going to spend a lot of time in the car with my parents. Someone suggested that there was a time when they had to spend a lot of time in the car with me and my brothers, so maybe it all evens out. Anyway, it's going to be a good time, I think. You might say a prayer for me as I drive a rental car tomorrow -- not just for me on the road but for Bob at home trying to figure out what to do about our car that is making awful noises under the hood. We need reliable transportation.
