Four things

I think I've done this before, but Jim tagged me, so here goes:

Four jobs I have had:
The salad girl at the Red Geranium Restaurant in New Harmony, Ind.
A nurse's aide in a nursing home.
Composition editor at the Clifton News-Tribune in Clifton, Kan.
Publications editor for K-State Research and Extension

Four movies I could watch over and over:
While You Were Sleeping
The Goodbye Girl
About a Boy
Safe Passage
(Can you tell I'm a sucker for sappy movies?)

Four places I have lived:
Bowen, Ill.
Griffin, Ind.
Lincoln, Ill.
Jamestown, Kan.

Four of my favorite foods:
Pizza
Mexican food
Lasagna
Mashed potatoes and gravy

Four places I would rather be right now:
London
Fort Wayne, Ind. (where my friend Rebecca lives)
Chicago (where Megan is and where KU plays it's opening round in the NCAA tournament)
At home with my husband

I can't think of anyone to tag, but if you read this and want to play along, leave a comment.

What a trip down memory lane to read this! I'd totally forgotten that I worked in a nursing home at West Salem....all of a week, I think! I was a wimp! (It takes courage to be old.) And I remember your spinach salad! lol But it's always been a mystery to me of how we're the Bestest Friends in the Universe, and yet, have such different tastes in movies. Rememeber how I used to make you watch scary movies?! hahaha I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I've done the same thing with my children. They're scarred for life. ~Rebecca

The thing is, I like scary things better than I used to. At least, I can read scary things. (I read Stephen King's newest book and really liked it.) So maybe I'm not as scarred as you think (either that, or you totally corrupted me :) )

Right. I'll get to work on revising my novel and you book the flight. :)

I should e-mail, I suppose, but do you have plans for your birthday?

I thought of asking if I could tag along (to London...or your birthday, Rebecca...how 'bout your birthday in London!!!??? :^), but that would be too much like someone's little brother wanting...to...come...along....oh...I am the little brother....

I see Rebecca and I are going to have to write mega-bestsellers because this trip is getting huge!
